User Guide: Playing Games
Waiting For Your Turn
If you are playing a multi-player game, there will be times where you will have to wait for your opponent to have his turn. During these times, there will be a message that stages: "waiting for your turn." If you do not notice the page refreshing (if you have disabled page refreshing in your browser), then please click the link to refresh the page every five or ten seconds.
Rolling Dice
To roll the dice, just click the button when it appears.
Holding Dice
To hold your chosen dice, either click on the dice or on the tick boxes beneath each dice. The dice are held if they change colour or if the little tick boxes are ticked. If you wish to hold all of your dice and place a score, then you must hold all of the dice and click the button to roll the dice.
Placing A Score
After your third dice roll, you will need to choose somewhere to place your score. Make a choice using the drop-down box, and then click the button to place your score. See the Yahtzee Rules pages for advice on where to put your score.
Sending Messages
There is a panel on the right-hand side that can be used to send messages between players and also to see what other players have been rolling etc. You can use the scroll-bar to see up to 25 messages.
Scorecards
During a game, you may wish to view your opponents scorecard. Click his name in the bottom right-hand corner of the window to see his scorecard. Don't forget to switch back to your own scorecard for your turn, however!
